New Moon in Gemini- May 25, 2017

May 25th's New Moon is in the Air sign of Gemini.  A few traits associated with this sign are thoughts, communication, creativity, duality, and quick-wittedness. The Super New Moon in May will be followed by a Super New Moon in June.  These back to back celestial events create a strong energy which may cause the next few weeks to feel intense.  Now should be a time of focusing on our thoughts and how we communicate with ourselves, others, and our environment!

Gemini is ruled by planet Mercury, which is a messenger of the gods.  We should expect to receive an influx of messages coming to us.  Whether they are bad or good is up to us and how we choose to view them.  Thoughts are so powerful and can have a noticeable affect on how we feel.  This should be something to be remembered, especially in these next few weeks!

Under the influence of the Gemini Twins energy there could be a tendency to get bored, distracted, or feel emotionally unstable, but do your best to not pay too much attention to this. By reminding ourselves to be flexible and patient, we can have an easier time going through any feelings of tension or frustration that we may experience.

Ideas and creative subjects may become a peak interest now, so its a good time to study, paint, or even just having a philosophical conversation with a friend! Finding new creative outlets for self-expression can also help us to feel a sense of renewal now. Setting new intentions for the New Moon is a great way to attract what you want for your life, and can be as easy as using a mantra or affirmation to help build on the energy.  Or if you enjoy using gemstones, I would suggest using one of Gemini's birth stones, Citrine, as a way to let go of your fears and manifest what you truly want. Whatever goals you choose to set, allow the process to unfold naturally, and the best outcome is bound to happen in perfect timing.
