Imbolc DIY Kit- Wooden Candlestick with Gold Candle
Awaken your inner crafty witch with this Imbolc DIY Kit, exclusive to Inked Goddess Creations.
Candles are a huge part of Imbolc. Our ancestors used to celebrate this festival of lights and fire by lighting candles at night on February 1st to carry the light of day all the way through to the morning of February 2nd.
This Imbolc DIY Kit contains the base items you need to decorate your own candlestick and then burn a gold candle, symbolic of Imbolc, in it. This kit contains:
- 1 Blank Wooden Candlestick, 2" tall by 1.75" at base
- 1 Gold Candle Cup to glue inside of your candlestick once you have painted it
- 1 Gold Candle, 4" x .75"
(The third picture shows an example of a painted candlestick!)
You can draw or paint whatever symbols, words, or pictures onto the blank candlestick that you'd like. You can use this candlestick exclusively for Imbolc, or decorate it in colors that fit your altar to use year-round. The candlestick is made for larger-based candles measuring .75". Please remember to glue your metal candle cup inside of your candlestick for safety reasons.
Imbolc (February 1st- February 2nd) marks the time in the Wheel of the Year where the winter begins to give way to spring, where new life is created, and magick in the air makes anything possible. Setting goals, starting new ventures, and more are all great for this time of year. Imbolc also honors the Goddess Brigid, the Goddess of Fire, Healing, Smithcraft, and Poetry. She is the Triple Goddess, and Imbolc is the time of year we honor her Maiden aspect.
Each order is for 1 DIY kit with just the items listed above.
Other items in the picture are for size reference only and are not included with the purchase.
