Full Moon in Pisces with Lunar Eclipse – September 7, 2025
This month’s Full Moon is a potent one, and one of the rare times we’ll actually encourage you to release something under its light. Our Full Moon in Pisces comes with a Lunar Eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon, when the Moon appears red from Earth. This happens because our planet passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow across its surface.
Even more, this is a Lunar North Node Eclipse, which means the Moon aligns with the North Node in the sky, amplifying its intensity. Some astrologers describe the nodes as a dragon, with the North Node as its head. In this case, the eclipse stirs up spiritual or emotional hunger, a restless pull forward. You may even notice new ambitions bubbling up. This is an energy that can feel foreign in Pisces, the sign hosting this lunation. Expect some tension here.
This eclipse also picks up where the September 17, 2024, Lunar Eclipse in Pisces left off. If you journal, now’s the time to revisit your entries from last fall and notice what themes and emotions were alive for you then. The threads are connected, and the choices you make during this eclipse will ripple forward, continuing to manifest through 2027.
The themes here are magick, imagination, intuition, and (I can’t stress this enough) ambition. The Moon also shines a light on where you’ve sacrificed yourself for others or where you may be holding on to illusions that need to be addressed.
