Why You Should Practice Feral Witchcraft
We talk a lot about feral witchcraft here at Inked Goddess Creations, and with good reason. Feral witchcraft is instinct-first witchcraft, practiced in the way witches used to practice magick before there were books, correspondence lists, certifications, and outside rules. At its core, it’s about intuitive nudges, embodied practices, responses to the moment, and a rooted, grounded trust in yourself.
It’s the difference between “Am I doing this ‘right’” and “Does this feel true?”
That difference changes everything! Feral witchcraft asks you to stop performing your practice and start inhabiting it and making it a part of your day-to-day life. It demands that you stop shrinking, sanitizing, or domesticating your magick so it’s more palatable for others.
Feral witchcraft is all about being your honest, messy, alive, and real self.
Tapping Into Your Intuitive Magick
Feral witchcraft begins in your body and more specifically, the sacral chakra, otherwise known as the “cauldron of creativity” and power. Your sacral chakra governs pleasure, creativity, sexuality, desire, and your gut instincts. From this part of your body, your entire energetic system says yes, no, or not like that.
We’re taught to disregard the wisdom of our sacral chakra through body shaming, sexual shame, religious conditioning, and societal demands that tell us our desires don’t really matter. Because when truly magickal people (like you) are taught to dismiss their personal power, others benefit.
Feral witchcraft is the process of calling that power back.
When you tap into your sacral power, you begin to practice magick that’s full of quick clarity, instinctive knowing, and badass confidence in your choices. You can literally feel the truth of a situation or the solution to your challenge. You stop worrying that your spell is “correct” and start relying on your inner wisdom for guidance.
What follows is a shift in your life toward pleasure, embodiment, and desire aligned with legitimate sources of power, not sources outside of yourself.
Basically, you stop outsourcing your wisdom, and your magick becomes more powerful than ever before.
