Create strong protective boundaries with the help of an Obsidian Poison Frog Carving from Inked Goddess Creations.
As soon as we saw these adorable black obsidian frogs at the Tucson Gem Show, we immediately thought, "poison frog," and their symbolism does not disappoint.
The frog has long been associated with success and abundance in life. It is also representative of transformation, as the frog goes through changes in its life cycle. It is believed in some cultures that frogs prevent loss. Poison frogs symbolize holding strong protective boundaries, full-bodied transformation, and walking between the worlds. They can also help one during shadow work, helping to uncover layers and find the healing energy within them.
Black Obsidian is a very powerful and creative stone. It increases self-control and releases imbalances and negative energies. Black Obsidian is protective and provides support during change. It repels negativity and disperses unloving thoughts. Obsidian resonates with the Root Chakra, making it an extremely grounding stone.
