Straw dollies (or corn dollies) come from ancient Celtic and European harvest customs. It was believed that the spirit of the field was contained in the last stalks of standing grain. The idea was that the stalks woven into a doll would keep the spirit safe during the winter. 

These beautiful Witch Holding Gemstone dollies are handmade by our in-house witches and crafted from Black Abaca Straw. Black Abaca Straw carries the qualities of unbreakable resilience, strength, and grounding. It's perfect for boundary and protection work. It has been traditionally used in warding and shielding practices.
