Gemstones For Beltane Energy All Month Long

Gemstones For Beltane Energy All Month Long

Beltane sits opposite Samhain on the Wheel of the Year, which makes it one of the two most significant sabbats of the Celtic calendar. Just as the veil is thin around Samhain, so too is it thinner around Beltane. But unlike its darker counterpart, Beltane is all about fire, fertility, and renewal. Also, like Samhain, Beltane’s energy is so intense that it can be felt leading up to the sabbat, and its celebration can continue all month long. To help you honor Beltane, we’ve curated gemstones that will help you sustain its energy throughout the month.

Emerald

May’s birthstone is Emerald, and this beautiful stone was one of Cleopatra’s favorite gem types. Emerald resonates with the heart chakra and the element of Earth. It’s sometimes called the “stone of successful love” and is said to bring joy to your home life. Use emerald in your Beltane rituals and all year long for emotional wellbeing, intuition, faith, serenity, and happiness. It can be especially useful at this time when the veil is thin, to enhance your connection with your own consciousness.

Tibetan Fairy Tears

Also known as Clam Shell Jasper, Tibetan Fairy Tears are stones of protection and balance. Its veins of black, gray, and white remind us of the balance between good and evil, light and dark. It is a gentle stone that may help you balance out the fiery energy that comes with Beltane.

Fluorite

Fluorite cleanses and stabilizes the aura. It absorbs and neutralizes negative energy and stress. Fluorite increases our powers of concentration and self-confidence while helping us in decision making. It encourages a positive attitude and balances one's energies. These hearts are a blend of green and purple fluorite, which have their own special qualities. Green Fluorite resonates with the Heart Chakra and harmonizes and recharges all chakras while balancing hormones. Purple Fluorite resonates with the Third Eye Chakra and increases mystic visions and aids spiritual balance. It helps the intuition to connect to the rational mind. Fluorite is also loved by the fey, making it a perfect gemstone for fairy magick, which is often practiced at Beltane.

Tourmalinated Quartz

A combination of Black Tourmaline and Quartz, Tourmalinated Quartz is also a very balancing stone. The earliest recorded use of this gem dates back two million years! Use it to balance the masculine and feminine energies, and to release negative thought patterns. The gemstone resonates with the third eye chakra and may help tune your intuition.

Auralite 23

With the energies of 23 different stones, Auralite 23 is one of the most powerful stones on the planet – if not the most powerful. The elements and minerals in Auralite 23 include pyrite, hematite, gold, copper, silver, platinum, iron, and more. Even if a specimen doesn’t include every element, the gem contains the energies of all 23. The gem aids in astral projection, self-confidence, and supports healing for empaths. It can also help awaken the powers of lightworkers.

Amphibole Quartz

Also known as Angel Phantom Quartz, Amphibole Quartz is a stone that includes a variety of minerals that, when they come together, create colors that range from white to yellow and orange to red or brown. The stone resonates with the third eye and crown chakras and helps you access higher realms. If you want to get in touch with your angelic guides, amphibole quartz may help you do just that! Use this gemstone during meditation for centering and grounding, or keep it by your bedside to aid in sleep.

Garnierite

This soothing green stone resonates with the solar plexus and heart chakras. Keep Garnierite close by to aid in energetic healing and to promote feelings of universal love. Depending on the amount of nickel found in the stone, specimens can range from a light yellow-green to a darker mint green shade. Its green hue also reminds us of the abundance of life during spring and summer.

Fire Agate

Fire Agate is a perfect stone for Beltane’s fiery energy. Iridescent flashes of red, orange, gold, and green create a fire-like depth to this crystal. Despite its vibrant appearance, Fire Agate is a very stabilizing stone. It resonates with the root chakra and can help stabilize your aura. Fire Agate’s steady energy can help encourage your physical strength and may be useful in sex magick.

Green Obsidian

Green obsidian is a rare but powerful gemstone that is said to remove psychic hooks from your chakras and to prevent anyone from “hooking” back into them in the future. Sometimes called Gaia stone, Green Obsidian resonates with the heart chakra and helps promote intimacy of both the romantic and the physical varieties. While you have to be careful that your green obsidian is the real deal – you can always count on Inked Goddess Creations to source genuine specimens – this stone is undoubtedly one worth having.

Moldavite

Moldavite is also known as the Star Stone because it’s formed when a meteorite collides with the Earth. As you might expect, Moldavite is an incredibly high vibrating stone and brings a divine presence to your space. Its deep green hue makes it perfect for Beltane altars, while its energizing effects can stimulate the nervous system. The stone brings luck, fertility, protection, and wealth, and resonates with the heart chakra.

As always, the magick is within you! May the blessings of Beltane be with you throughout the month.
