New Moon in Leo- August 21, 2017
This upcoming new moon will also be a total solar eclipse. During a solar eclipse, the moon is exactly in front of the sun. This will have a significant impact on every person, no matter their zodiac sign. Exactly how it will affect you will depend upon on how you use its strong energies. Old behaviors, habits, and patterns should be reviewed, as you are given a real chance to make changes for yourself and your future. If you allow yourself to embrace the unknown, then this will feel less disruptive. You can consciously create new and positive changes!
The previous full moon was in the sign of Aquarius. Many truths were revealed to us during that time, which allowed us to see what no longer serves a purpose for our life. While this may have been an unsettling experience, it provided an opportunity to accept and let go of the old to make room for the new. Lucky for us, this Leo new moon helps us to do just that. What do you want to be passionate about? What do you want to create for your life? Are you willing to learn from your past heartaches and loss and open up your heart to love? The temptation to take action based on our egos will be an option, but it is not the only one. Making choices that benefit more than just ourselves have a better chance at success in the long run.
